Lidl SMS VERIFICATION Receive the Lidl code on a rented number.

A real number, allocated to you for one Lidl verification. Your personal phone stays out of it.

Lidl Plus is the supermarket chain's loyalty app. It carries weekly digital coupons, a digital receipt for every shop, and in many countries scratch-card rewards after you spend a set amount. Registration ties the app to one country and one home store, and part of it is an SMS code sent to a mobile number. A second Lidl Plus account for a partner who shops separately, or a test account for a team building a retail integration, needs its own number.

Coupons and rewards differ by country, so the number usually follows the store. A German number suits Lidl Plus in Germany, and a UK number suits the British app. The numbers here come from real mobile ranges in each country. Lidl Plus runs in most countries where Lidl has stores, including Spain, Poland and Italy.

Lidl Plus SMS verification code on a rented local mobile number

How Lidl Plus registration runs

You choose a country and a home store, enter an email and password, and confirm a mobile number with a code. The app then shows a barcode at the till, and every purchase scanned with it lands in the account as a digital receipt and counts toward that country's rewards. The home store decides which leaflet and which store-specific offers the app shows first, and you can change it later in the settings.

The number is a check that a real person owns the account, and Lidl uses the email for sign-in. Keep the email one you control, and the account stays reachable after the rented number returns to the pool. If the app asks to confirm the number again after a reinstall, rent a number from the same country for that code.

One card per shopper

Lidl's terms for Lidl Plus limit each person to one account, and coupons are meant to be activated once per account. Opening several accounts to activate the same coupon several times breaks those terms, and Lidl can cancel rewards on accounts it links.

Two people in one household who shop on their own are two shoppers, and each can have an account. A developer testing a receipt or coupon flow on a test account is another ordinary case. Each of those accounts keeps its own receipts and rewards.

Moving country or store

Lidl Plus accounts are bound to the country chosen at registration. Someone who moves from Germany to Austria usually needs a new account in the Austrian app, with an Austrian number if the app asks for a local one. Activated coupons and past receipts stay with the old account and do not transfer.

Other delivery and grocery apps work the same way per country. See Wolt for food delivery in many of the same markets.

How to verify Lidl without your own number

  1. Pick Lidl and a country

Choose Lidl in the app, then any country with live stock. Prices are shown before you commit.

  2. Use the number we allocate

Paste the number into the Lidl sign-up form and request the code.

  3. Read the code in your dashboard

The SMS appears the moment it arrives, usually well under a minute. If nothing lands, the charge reverses automatically.
